How do I meet my Chauffeur at the Airport?
Your Chauffeur will track your flight and when you land, they will send you a text message to arrange where to meet you. They will then wait in the arrival’s hall with a nameboard. Please do not leave the terminal and go outside before you find us. If there is any problems, please call us on 0345 5481211 or call the Chauffeurs number provided on your booking confirmation.
If my flight arrives early will my Chauffeur be there?
We track all flights, and your Chauffeur will contact you as soon as you land to arrange meeting you.
What can I do if my flight is delayed?
Your Chauffeur will track your flight and will be waiting for you when you land. Please call us on 0345 5481211 if you are going to be seriously delayed. We offer a free hour waiting time once your flight has landed. waiting time is then charged at an hourly rate, (depending on which type of vehicle) we divide the hour into 15-minute segments.
What happens if my flight is changed?
Please call or email us and we will update your booking with the new details.
Are parking and tolls charges included?
Parking and tolls are not included, they will be added to your final invoice but are kept costing price.
What’s your cancellation policy?
Free cancellation 24 hours prior to booking. 50% charge between 24 and 12 hours prior to booking. !00% charge less than 12 hours’ notice.
Can I give my Chauffeur a tip or gratuity?
Tips or gratuities can be given to your Chauffeur in person or your can contact us for them to be added to your invoice. Your Chauffeur will receive the full amount.
Can you supply guided tours?
We can provide tours all over the United Kingdom, Including London, Oxford, Cambridge, Windsor and beyond. Please contact us for more details with your requirements.
Can you provide specialist Chauffeurs?
We have specialist Chauffeurs available subject to availability. These include First Aid trained Chauffeurs, Experienced Police trained Chauffeurs, Security Chauffeurs, Lady Chauffeurs as well as Chauffeurs available who speak numerous languages.
Can I track my Chauffeur?
We have a passenger app that lists all your bookings and also allows you to track the location of your Chauffeur. Please contact us for more information.
What are your Booking conditions?
When making a booking with Shield Chauffeurs Ltd / Shield Transfers, you will be requested to add a Debit or Credit Card, they are then held in the secure portal to act as a guarantee against your booking. When this step has been completed, you will receive an email confirming all the details you have supplied. The email will also contain details of the driver assigned, along with the vehicle for your journey.
Once the journey has been completed, an invoice will be generated and sent via email to the booker. Payment will then be taken from your saved card.
Any additional charges, such as parking or waiting time will be communicated on the invoice generated upon completion of the trip.
Please note we allow up to 60 minutes free waiting time for all airport collections (from time plane lands), and 15 minutes waiting time for all other journeys.
Waiting time (over the free period) and parking charges will be added to the Invoice when job is completed. Free cancellation 24 hours prior to journey.
